Only a tiny niggle, was asked for dietry requirements prior to arrival, the hotel has a wonderful gluten/dairy free menu. There were four chocolates on a plate in the room, My Daughter enjoyed them but I resisted as not sure if they were "safe" for me to eat. A little flag on complimentary treats could avoid this.

True five star hotel, but their basic rooms are tiny though plush. Breakfast is too expensive, but there are literally a hundred places to have breakfast within a few blocks. Also, the hotel is in a very noisy/busy area, and the sound proofing is extraordinary.

Room was a bit too small for what we paid. Everything else was perfect.

The service was impeccable. The concierge was amazing, and really took amazing care of us. Housekeeping services were outstanding, spontaneously catering to every need without us even needing to ask.

Breakfast. Continental breakfast had 2 dry pieces of toast, one (1) croissant that was not freshly baked, and a “fruit platter” with fruit that were devoid of any flavor. All this at a grossly overpriced 21 GBP. I don’t mind paying, but quality of the food should be tenfold better.

Very comfortable and wonderful staff…nothing was too much trouble. Very central for Covent Garden and many theatres. Food is mainly Gluten and Dairy free in the restaurant for dinner. Good choice for breakfast.

In a noisy traffic area…but typical for central London!

Impeccable service in an amazing location. Heated floors, fantastic housekeeping, lovely sauna & steam room with great room lighting & so quiet for London. Loved every minute!

Even for London the room was small considering the price paid. Also by far the worst feature was the incredibly noisy toilet with a vacuum flush similar to an aeroplane toilet. We were woken up whenever the surrounding rooms flushed their toilets

What's not to like. This hotel is one of the best conveniently located close to Covent Garden. Make use of the gym and pool. Enjoy a drink in the lobby bar.

Luxury comes at a price. This hotel is only value for money if you need the location, want all the facilities or to be treated like a king/queen. Rooms are not especially big, but very comfortable.

The break fast, pool and Spa /massage was only redeeming feature!

Appalling room. Noisy plumbing . Crawling around on floor to get a power point and lighting.....absolutely appalling!

Excellent design and lay out of the room and lounge area - staff unfailingly polite and courteous

There should be tea and coffee making facilities in the room . The bar /lounge area is open to non guests - which is fine but this being the case the residents only lounge should be open the same times ( it closes at 10) - what happens late evening if you are a guest and the open lounge is full with non residents ?

We loved everything about our stay, which was over the London Marathon weekend. I was running the Marathon for the first time so wanted to find somewhere within easy walking distance. Having re-learned to swim in the pool 7 years before it was a joy to come back to No 1 with another challenge in mind. The staff were super attentive, from check-in to the guests' lounge to breakfast which literally arrived 5 minutes after we ordered it, to the team in the Spa who helped my with my recovery process from an exhausting physical endeavour. We did try to see if there was something that the hotel would not be able to have an answer for, and only found that on our last morning when searching for a forgotten MacBook charger. The front desk only had a PC charger so when I spoke later to Rui he informed me that they were having another look at their provision of IT equipment and chargers. What is so great about this hotel is that despite being such a busy location, the rooms are incredibly quiet and the beds are really comfortable with the best pillows that I've come across in London hotels. Will definitely be returning.

Every single member of staff was friendly, professional and more than helpful.

The room was very hot and the air-con could not cope. However, once mentioned to reception they had an engineer look at the settings and receptionist personally checked it for us.

the best service I have ever received in a hotel and will certainly be booking in again, having stopped in many hotels what impressed me the most was the informal and homely feel yet professional at all times.

Everything. Perfect location in the heart of Soho, very friendly and helpfull staff, nice and modern furnishing, beautiful room, excelent kitchen and restaurant avalabilities.

We havn't got enough time to use all the amenities of the house.

Their guest lounge was excellent. Providing their guests with all kinds of complimentary hot beverages and fruits and newspapers to read, in a very comfortable environment, was wonderfully welcoming.

I liked the lobby and the location of the hotel. The employees are kind and friendly

The room and bathroom need a renovation. My lock was not working when I arrived and they had to change my room. The last day the lifts were not working.
